FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you can’t find the answer you are looking for, please Contact Us for more information.  We would love to hear from you…

Do you have changing and shower facilities?

Aldeburgh: Yes!  We have use of the Community Centre changing and shower facilities next door.  When our building is upgraded in the Autumn, we hope to have our own dedicated facilties.

Earl Soham: Yes!  We have two changing/shower rooms with a complimentary selection of shower products.

What are credits?

Here at Mint Fitness we don’t have any contracts.  We are totally pay-as-you-go.  We operate on a credit based system where one credit is equivalent to one class, personal training session or sports massage.  The more you purchase, the more cost effective the price per session is.

Can I use the same credits at both Aldeburgh and Earl Soham?

Yes you can!

What is your cancellation policy?

If you leave a class or cancel a PT session/massage at least 6 working hours before it begins, your credit will automatically be refunded.

If a class has fewer than 3 people booked on by 9pm the night before, we might cancel the class – if this happens, we will always let you know by text or email.

What if the class i want to book is already full?

Please use the Join Waitlist function.  If a place becomes available more than 30 minutes before the class begins and you have a valid credit on your account, you will automatically be added to the class – we will send you an email confirming this.  If a place becomes available and you do not have a valid credit on your account, you will be sent an email offering you buy a credit and book the place – if you do not respond to the email within 15 minutes, the place will be offered to the next person in the list.

Can I bring my son/daughter with me?

12-16 year olds are very welcome to join our classes provided that they are accompanied by an adult.  You can set up a family account through by following these instructions which will allow you to buy credits and book classes for your family.  If you need help, we will very happily set this up for you.  Please note, it does not allow you share credits with each other.

We also hope to offer kids classes for under 12s during school holidays, please follow us on social media for updates and announcements.

Do you offer regular gym facilities i.e. to turn up and train on my own?

Not at the moment although we believe that you might have more fun and get a better workout from one of our classes or personal training sessions anyway.  Aldeburgh: we hope to offer this facility when our building is upgraded in the Autumn.

Am I fit enough to try a class?

Yes you are!  Unless you have a medical condition that prevents you from conducting exercise, all of our classes are designed to be fun, effective and safe for all fitness levels and abilities.

If you don’t yet have the confidence to try a fitness class, or if you prefer a more private and bespoke experience, we strongly recommend that you try personal training – it is much more effective and better value for money than you might imagine.

How do I set up my indoor cycle?

Your instructor will be very happy to help you set up your bike correctly, just turn up 10 minutes early for your class.
